The next rehearsal of the Lt Div & Rifles Veterans Band is 3 Feb 18 in Shrewsbury at 8RIFLES Army Reserve Centre. Please make a note in your diary and complete the booking form now to give Tex and I an idea of the numbers.
Please circulate this to all former members of any of the Lt Div Bands or Rifles Bands. There is considerable enthusiasm from within the Regimental Council and RHQ Rifles for a Veterans Band to enhance the amazing success of the Lt Div & Rifles Veteran Buglers Association. The musicians who have attended the last couple of rehearsals are in favour of moving forward with officially forming a Veterans Band however, we do need more musicians to join us for it to succeed. If you are unsure come alone and give it a go at the February rehearsal I can assure you will not regret it and that you will thoroughly enjoy it . Just ask those new members that joined us in September; Barry James, John Limbert, Martin Wills, Nigel Pattinson and Tom Milford.
