LI Reunion 2019 Performance - Band, Programme and Dress


LTDiv and Rifles Veterans Band

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to perform at the LI Reunion on Saturday 1 Jun at approx 3 pm. The LI Committee, Tex and I are very grateful to you for your commitment. Tickets for the wives/daughter and all the names will on the gate with security.

Dress for the Band is:

  • White shirt and regimental ties

  • Females a white blouse tie optional

  • Dark trousers (no jeans)

As we a heavy on Sax's but light on Cornets and Clarinets, Tex asks if the following members would cover as follows:

  • Mark Sabin on sop Sax covering Cornet parts

  • Terry Marsh on Sop Sax covering either Cornet or Clarinet parts

  • Andy Tugwell on Clarinet

Below is the full list of members who have agreed to perform:

  • Mick Fozzard - Alto Sax

  • Colin Cranswick accompanied by wife - Flute

  • Dave Chester - Alto Sax

  • Mark Sabin accompanied by wife - Sab on Sop Sax covering cornet parts

  • Andrew Tugwell accompanied by wife - Clarinet

  • Richard Spencer (Euphonium)

  • Terry March accompanied by wife - on Sop Sax covering either cornet or clarinet parts

  • Dave Marshall accompanied by wife - French Horn and

  • Michael Pattison – Clarinet

  • Kerri Bromley accompanied by daughter – Cornet

  • Craig Foskett – Cornet

We will be joined by some members of the Oxford ACF (Rifles) Band to make up our numbers.

The programme of music will be:

  • Light Infantry

  • Little Bugler

  • Bohemian Rhapsody

  • Swing March

  • Sambre et Meuse

  • Dolly Gray

  • High on a hill

  • Mechanised Infantry

  • Any other easy piece the DOM Oxford ACF Band may think will work with this instrumentation and that the audience will appreciate.

That should give us 45 minutes in the beer tent.
